Hey Everyone! For this DIY, I’ll be showing you how to make some awesome lace inserts, which are perfect for the spring time! Let’s begin!

Supplies Needed:
♥ Jean shorts
♥ Lace Doyle
♥ Sewing kit or Sewing machine
♥  Pins


Step 1: Grab seam ripper and determine how high you want to cut. You don’t want to cut too high because then your underwear will show. I cut mine 2 inches up

Screen shot 2014-01-27 at 5.58.46 PMStep 3: Grab a lace doyle and cut it in half. I’m going to further cut my doyle again, making it a 1/4 but this depends on the sizes of your shorts.

Screen shot 2014-01-27 at 6.02.02 PMStep 4: Pin the sides of your shorts with the doyle underneath and begin to sew. You can sew either by hand or a sewing machine. Start by backstitching and be sure to add a top backstitch as well so it doesn’t rip later
