Hello everyone! Welcome back to our little slice of life, where I share the everyday adventures of being a work-from-home mom and a content creator. Today, I’m peeling back the curtains to give you a glimpse into our bustling, beautiful Friday with my two-year-old son, Leo, and our furry friend, Amaya.
Our day kicks off bright and early with morning cuddles and the rush to get breakfast on the table. Leo is happily munching on some egg bites I prepared the day before, along with a side of blueberries, mangoes, and yogurt sprinkled with hemp seeds. I stick to a simple coffee and water—keeping it light as we usually do with our intermittent fasting routine.
Post-breakfast, it’s playtime for Leo with Dad while I steal a few moments for a much-needed shower. It’s a dance of parenting, where my husband and I tag team to keep our little ones happy and attended to.
Mid-morning, we head out for a quick shopping trip to pick up a birthday gift for a friend. The secret to managing a store run with a toddler? Snacks! A pro tip from our family to yours: always have snacks ready to avoid any meltdowns.
By lunchtime, we’re back and I’m whipping up a simple yet nutritious meal. Leo gets his favorite—tuna sandwich with veggie dinos, and for us, it's tuna sandwiches with avocado and a delightful broccoli salad. Our meal times are flexible, sometimes stretching long as we navigate through toddler moods and preferences.
In the afternoon, it’s work mode for me. With Leo napping, I get a chance to catch up on emails, plan content, and maybe sneak in some video editing. It’s a quieter part of our day, but as every parent knows, it’s a temporary calm.
Later, we're off to swim class, a new addition to our routine that Leo is gradually warming up to. It's a joy to watch him make little strides in the water, even as he clings to the familiarity of his dad being close by.
Our evening winds down with some playful chaos as Leo zooms around with his toys before bedtime rituals take over—brushing teeth, reading books, and lots of bedtime cuddles.
Once Leo’s tucked in and dreaming, it’s time for my husband and I to relax. We might watch a movie or indulge in some homemade s'mores, enjoying a little date night at home.
Today felt like a breeze, almost weekend-like, with just enough work peppered through to keep it interesting. Each day brings its own set of challenges and triumphs, but moments like these are precious and remind me how rewarding and fun this journey can be.
Thank you for joining me in this day in the life of a toddler mom and content creator. Stay tuned for more stories and tips from our family to yours!
Until next time, stay playful and positive!
