First up on our testing block were the stick toys. Originally eyed as a potential bath time game changer (because, let's be real, bath time needs constant revamping), these toys were a hit! They're like mini construction sets for the tub, complete with various connectors that snap together. Verdict? 5 stars from me for their fun and fidgety nature, and a big thumbs up from Leo too!

Next, we explored some unicorn-themed connector toys. These were versatile and fun for both Leo and me, doubling as unicorn horns when stuck on our foreheads (because why not?). Despite being hair magnets, their entertainment value earned them a solid 5 stars. Leo's engagement? Check!

Gifted to us after a TikTok shoutout, these magnetic cubes were a blast! They reminded us of a blend between Minecraft and another popular game, with little figures like pigs, chickens, and even lava blocks. Easy to assemble and endlessly entertaining, these cubes scored a perfect 5 stars from both Leo and me. Definitely a keeper for creative little builders!

As we battled the LA heat, the water spray pad seemed like a perfect solution. Initially overwhelming with its setup on our patio (and a non-recording mic adding to the drama), it turned into a delightful splash zone for Leo, who gradually warmed up to the cool, watery fun. A summer-winning choice and my personal favorite for outdoor play!

Lastly, we tested a splash baseball set that doubled as a sprinkler. Magic ensued as the ball floated magically over the stream of water, providing giggles and splashes. It was an instant hit, earning a joyful 10 out of 10 for its fun factor and minimal setup compared to the pool.
